Preparing for class
Here are a few suggestions on how to prepare for a class.
  • Wear comfortable clothing which does not restrict breathing or movement. Shorts, leotards or tights which do not cover the feet are suitable.
  • Try not to eat just before a class. We recommend exercise one hour after a light meal or four hours after a heavy meal.
  • Women should inform the teacher if they are pregnant or menstruating as certain postures are not recommended.
  • If you have been out in the hot sun, you need to cool down before doing yoga.
