Here are a few suggestions on how to prepare for a class.
Wear comfortable clothing which does not restrict breathing or movement. Shorts, leotards or tights which do not cover the feet are suitable.
Try not to eat just before a class. We recommend exercise one hour after a light meal or four hours after a heavy meal.
Women should inform the teacher if they are pregnant or menstruating as certain postures are not recommended.
If you have been out in the hot sun, you need to cool down before doing yoga.
